A site for selling used textbooks.

The site will work like this: people can browse based on the school and grade they need books for. Once they click on their school logo they are shown the grades available for their school. They click on the grade and are shown all the books needed for that grade. They add the books they want to their cart and check out by paying for credit card.

There are three main areas to the site:

Shopping Cart
Shopping Cart Admin
Order Processing

Shopping Cart
This will be a typical shopping cart. Users can browse all they want, but must register to make a purchase. All their information can be stored on the server except credit card. This info will not be stored on the site. Also, need all the typical functionality for users to retrieve their un and password.

The items in the store will be textbooks, organized but school and grade. Each textbook can belong to more than one school.

We need to make sure that all the usual areas are https.

We will need a Contact Us area that will be like a trouble ticket system. Users will be able to enter their info and their request is put in to a ticketing system. Users will get an email with a link to the ticket, and site admins will get an email letting them know a new ticket has been submitted. We want something like this:

Shopping Cart / Site Admin
Need to ability to add, edit, and delete items, schools, and grades. Also, need to be able to add, edit, and delete users. There will be additional static pages, such as About Us, Contact Us, etc., that will need to be editable from the admin. Also, need to be able to manage coupon deals.

Order Processing
Need the ability to view, edit, process, and refund orders. Paypal will be the merchant account.

Sometimes the book orders will be picked up by the customer. We must have a way to reconcile that in the system. Othertimes, the books will be shipped via a shipper, like Fedex. We will need to be able to charge real-time shipping rates.

I will provide the basic graphic layout, you will need to cut and slice the few images I send to create the site template. Site must be up to WC3 standards and pass their tests for CSS and HTML compliance.
