Countdown Email

We have an animated Flash countdown that is running until a specific date in 2013. When a viewer visits our home page, they see this countdown and a login window (password).
If they dont have a password, they are invited to subscribe. What we would like to happen is:
1/ on hitting the subscribe button, an image of the exact time in the countdown is created.
2/ this image is used as the visual for a \"confirmation\" email they receive along with their password.
we are intending to use Mailchimp as the subscription/confirmation email generation service.
